Albertina Art Gallery

The Albertina Art Gallery is another of the many attractions in Vienna that must be seen.

Located in Vienna’s 1st district, it is said to house the world’s largest collection of graphic material. The Graphic items in the museum displays about 50,000 drawings and about 1 million printed sheets that vary from Late Gothic to Contemporary Art by well known idols like Michelango and Raphael.

Other amazing collections within the museum include photographic items and the Mascha and Paul items in the poster section. The Architectural items include famous sketches, drafts and models by Otto Wagner and Alvar Aalto.

The Gallery also provides family and school programmes, guided tours and an excellent range of facilities for people with disabilities. There is a restaurant and café located on the ground floor where you can go to take a short break.
