As one of the top destinations in Austria, Vienna is served by Vienna Schwechat International Airport which is located about 18kms away near Schwechat, a small town to the south west of Vienna.

The City Airport Train (CAT) will take you directly from the airport into the city centre in about 16 minutes. This is a quick service but costs a bit more. If speed isn’t as important, you can take an S-bahn S7 or S2 into the city for less than half the price at only 10 minutes longer.

Vienna is rail hub between the east and west of Europe. Westbahnhof (West Station) and Sudbahnhof (South Station) are the two main train stations of Vienna.
